Homework for section 8-5, Pgs. 605 – 607 (due Feb. 20/21): 

• #27 – 37 odd
• 38-46 all
• 47, 49, 58, 59, 62.

In addition, a worksheet over simplifying and rationalizing radicals was passed out, and is due NEXT WEEK (so you have some time to work through it):

Due Date: Tuesday, February 26 (A-Day) / Wednesday, February 27 (B-day)

This is homework in addition to (NOT in place of) the bookwork from the syllabus (which will be ready very soon).  This worksheet will be due on review day (Feb. 26/27 of next week), so you have some time to work through the 30 problems (but please don’t procrastinate!!!).

There is a type-o on the Pre-AP Algebra II Syllabus for the test day homework assignment that lists the “TAKS Prep” assignment from page 562 (we already did this after the Chapter 7 test!).

The correct homework assignment is the 8-4 Technology Lab on page 591, #1-7 all.  This assignment is due at the start of class on Thursday/Friday, February 14/15, and will prepare you for the lesson on section 8-4.

The notes for section 8.1 were taken straight from the examples in the book, but if you would like a printed version of what was passed out in class, here it is:

Our first test of the 2nd semester is coming up on Tuesday, January 29 for A-day, Wednesday, January 30 for B-day.  The chapter 7 exam will cover sections 7.1 – 7.6.  Some of this review is out of the textbook:
